Your Role 

As a Senior MOO Specialist, you’ll lead the development of cutting-edge tools that automate and optimize the design of industrial sites, layouts and buildings. Your expertise will drive innovation, streamline workflows and create scalable solutions with real-world impact. Collaborate and grow within an interdisciplinary team developing innovative workflows and scalable solutions. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Drive automation for industrial site and layout planning, turning complexity into simplicity 
  • Innovate and implement cutting-edge multi-criteria optimization (MOO) algorithms 
  • Solve complex master plan and facility layout challenges using data-driven methodologies 
  • Refine and integrate algorithms into scalable design tools for global impact 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 3+ years of experience in software development for computational design or multi-criteria optimization in construction, manufacturing, or related fields 
  • Skilled in Python programmer with a passion for solving complex challenges with code 
  • Strong mathematical and algorithmic thinking skills, including the ability to translate real-world problems into mathematical models and efficient solutions 
  • Expertise in layout and building design optimization algorithms and workflows 
  • A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills to thrive in an interdisciplinary environment 

 

Tech Sample You’ll Work With: 

  • Python (primary language) 
  • Jupiter Notebooks and Visual Studio Code 
  • Shapely 
  • Git, Azure DevOps and Notion
